Gold at The Drinks Business Global Rosé Masters - Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé does the double
29 May 2026
Back-to-back honours within a month of launch - Gold at The Drinks Business Global Rosé Masters, just days after the IWC Provence Rosé Trophy.
Just days after scooping the Provence Rosé Trophy at the International Wine Challenge, Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé has added a Gold Medal at The Drinks Business Global Rosé Masters. Back-to-back honours at two of the most respected awards programmes in the industry, all within the first month of launch.
Held in London, the Global Rosé Masters is part of the wider Global Wine Masters series run by The Drinks Business, one of the most rigorous programmes in the international wine calendar. Judges blind tasted more than 200 wines from 12 countries, with fewer than one in five entries reaching Gold or Master level. Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé was among those that did.
Gold here is not handed out lightly. Reserved for wines considered the gold standard for their type, judged blind by Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior trade professionals, and assessed by style rather than region, it is among the most coveted accolades in the rosé world. Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé is now among its recipients.
Two major honours in the first month since launch are a rare achievement. For a still rosé, where competition at the top of the category is famously fierce, it is rarer still.
Roger Taylor and the team set out to make something genuinely great. The judges, it seems, agree.
Queen Côtes de Provence Rosé 2025 (13% ABV) is available now from Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Booths and Amazon, priced from £18 per bottle, and direct from queenwinesofficial.com.
